| This weekend could only be described as fucking nuts. 10+ kegs and mud wrestling? That's fucking nuts. I think I'm gonna try to balance my weekends by doing tame stuff and wild stuff in quick succession. That'll please my friends who look down upon the wild stuff and it'll appease my friends who can't wait for the wildness. Arab dissident and walking dead man Osama Bin Laden denied responsibility for the attacks. Can you believe the absolute stupidity of this guy? He pissed us off a few times, killed some marines and embassy personnel but we took that in stride. Now he hit below the belt. I'm not blindly assuming it was him, but I have trouble believing the conspiracy theories like it was the New World Order or British nazis and all the other shit I've heard. The Taliban thinks we're just trying to pin it on bin Laden. What, are we gonna ruin his reputation? His career? First of all, his thanking Allah for the attack didn't help his already bleak chances of suriving the next 6 months. Secondly, does he honestly think the nation of Islam (the vast majority of which has condemned his actions) will rise up to attack all the people with better technology and common sense? Read this article on Eightball Magazine. This guy writes like a motherfucker and he always has weird news and interesting opinions. In the article, he's pointing out the similarities between Christian Fundamentalist leaders and Muslim Fundamentalist leaders. They both blame arbitrary human behavior for the attacks, saying that it's retribution from God (or Allah, as it were). Very interesting. Go to infowars.com and indulge yourself with all the conspiracy theory you can choke down. A lot of the stuff that they try to pass off as conspiracies are in fact not, such as bin Laden being a CIA asset. The CIA aided bin Laden and the Taliban in Afghanistan in the 80's. Duh. It's no secret. "The enemy of my enemy is my friend" was the logic being used at the time, and the US was backing anyone who was against the USSR. I don't feel like writing anymore. I just did most of a journal entry but I don't feel like finishing that. I don't feel like writing up the stories of late or writing an editorial so I think I'm just gonna hit the homework. | I just got back from running around with April and with every passing moment it grows more difficult to resist clicking the Counter-Strike icon. Playing this new version is like obtaining a more powerful and addictive form of heroin. My main qualm with the new patch is all the fucking HEADSHOTS!! Oh my GOD what the fuck have they done to my beloved game? It's all spray and pray three headshots in one clip bullshit. The voice chat stuff is fucking awesome though. I dunno what we did before this.... I find it hard to imagine that a mere three days ago I had to type out "They're taking the tunnel" instead of just saying it. The new maps are alright, if confusing as hell. They're mazes. de_inferno is ruined I'm afraid. That was my favorite map from the 1.0 patch. I haven't had a chance to bust out any real content like editorials or album reviews or whatever but at some point I'll get around to it. I've just been pretty busy lately. If i'm not at class, doing homework or playing cs this nigga is out fishin'... for honies. Hehe.. I highly recommend Day of Defeat. I'm a straight-up sucker for anything WW2 related so Return to Wolfenstein and DoD are right up my alley. I love DoD but Wolf has some definite problems. Doing something carefree and innocent was an interesting change from hitting parties. Been a long time since I went to just a movie and Mozart's. Anyway enough about bad things. I bought Travis tickets the other day. Jay and I are seeing the last Toadies show (ever!!!!!) in Dallas and it's only costing me $3 cos Jay owes me $35 from the Deftones show. My sister has the hookup on U2 tickets and apparently gets first available so we're gonna be obscenely close to the boys from Dublin. I prolly can't afford Tool and I'd rather see Nickelback than Incubus I think and I might see Tenacious D just for shits & giggles. If you're in the mood for something light yet filling get some Kings of Convenience. Jared recently introduced me to them and it's just nice, beautiful British music like Coldplay and Travis. Don't you just love it when somebody messages you like "Ohh man I'm so drunk right now" and intentionally misspells things to better convey the feeling. Ya, I think it's annoying too. You know what else is annoying? When people talk really loudly in public (whether on cell phones or in person) about drugs and alcohol and consumption thereof. What, am I supposed to be impressed? Ya I know I know I talk about drugs and alcohol and the consumption thereof here but I'm not out to impress people I'll never see again. I must offer one word of advice to anyone on campus: make a conscious effort to meet chicks that live at Littlefield! I know Hardin is considered the virgin vault but damn Littlefield's gotta be the virgin surplus.. or something less blunt and offensive. I love visiting friends there because a) I love you April! b) so many honies there and c) half of them are virgins who've never been to a real party. Damn nigga! But don't tell too many people cos they'll swarm the place.. Have you ever noticed how things can be going so good yet you can't make any sense of it but then things get completely fucked up but things that were fuzzy before are suddenly clear? I'm not saying that entirely because of the WTC & DC attacks by any means. I just mean.. damn maybe I should just write it all down later and make an editorial. I need to do a Vivid story on the mangina thing. |

| Way too many good shows and faaar too little money in the bank to cover it all. Travis, 311, Tool, Nickelback, U2, Incubus, Toadies... I mean I technically have enough money to go see all those shows. Sadly that doesn't mean I can afford them. /me needs a job Updates: Editorials - Take It Easy So far I've had a lot of free time (this will change shortly) so I've gotten into some new bands and played games an awful lot. I'll be a lot busier soon and undoubtedly better off because of it. A result of the free time is either my tolerance is getting much higher much quicker or I've been doing something wrong. That goes for all things you can develop high tolerances for. It's taken quite a bit of effort to get fucked up lately. The other day my laziness in the morning caused a chain reaction of laziness that led to me not going to a party. My fucking low beam headlights don't work (although the brights are locked & loaded) and I slept in and didn't get them fixed so I couldn't drive to a party that night. I keep forgetting about it too. The other day I took my car to ultimate practice when it was light and we had to drive all the way back from 51st with no headlights at about 9pm. Did I feel stupid? No more than usual when I'm out in public. I never fully understood Everything In Its Right Place til last Tuesday. Download Sing by Travis. |

| I knew I'd get too distracted to mess with the page. You'd think I'd be far too distracted today but I'm trying not to think about it. Ultimate was a nice, healthy distraction from the steady stream of grim news from the northeastern US. I was called and informed at about 10 til 9 and flipped on the tv and was like "what the fuck? where's the other tower?" Twenty minutes later the second one came down. I'm still pretty fucking furious... but I'm tired of thinking about it. All I know is whoever did it will be thoroughly and forcefully fucked in the ass, unlubricated. Updates: Vivid - Hoochie by Angela I was gonna do an editorial on.... something... but I forgot what it was. So much for the after effects of pot. Maybe that's what the subject of the editorial was, who knows? Anyway, my classes are appallingly (sp?) easy so far. It's a breeze. Basically it's just been weed and parties as yet. I might very well write an editorial on my fucking dorm and how much they're ripping us off. They've given us the proverbial SHAFT. | Being hungover at class is so far from cool. Our intent was to be drunk but damned if we didn't get carried away. I met these three really cool girls and somehow I came to find out they know Jennifer and Meagan. Oy! What are the odds? I don't really remember how it came up either... it's still very foggy. Anyway I was fine this morning til I was actually at class. Halfway into the class I wasn't taking in anything the prof was talking about because all my efforts were focused on not becoming sick. I was suddenly snapped to attention when a girl mentions "I have this friend, she's from Waxahachie and-" and I blurt out "What's her name?" The girl's train of thought went off the tracks momentarily, then she said "Leslie." I still can't figure out who that is though. Weird. Today has been pretty weird though. The aftermath of ridiculous amounts of alcohol combined with KB is... blahh. I need to order my burner still but I think I wanna have a job first. One problem in the area of finding jobs is two places I've applied at require urine tests. That's a bitch. There are a few ways around it luckily. I recommend listening to Alex Jones if you can find a way too. Check out infowars.com. If you ever thought you were radical this boy'll put you to shame. From watching some of his local broadcasts I've gathered that our world leaders sacrifice babies to a Canaanite god somewhere in Cali, the UN is trying to reduce the world's population by 80% through Nutrasweet and putting HIV in vaccines, the government is behind the Oklahoma and New York terrorist attacks, and that the aim of the government now is to take away our guns and move towards a prison economy. You'll laugh til you see his proof. It's all veeeery interesting. I bought the newest Travis album and some headphones with a mic in anticipation of CS v1.3. I'm getting the HL update right now and will be playing as soon as possible. |
