| Campus is dead as fucking disco right now except for the zombies stumbling home from finals. I had Logic today and my ass is all bruised from Koons' test slapping me and asking who my daddy is. But it's all over. Every time someone's had their last final we've all celebrated, so just imagine what's going to happen now that we're all done. I may die. It'll be worth it though. I'm happy now cos I've got a beer and QOTSA and Modest Mouse and it's 11:30 in the morning. Rawr! Vacation. Finally got my FAFSA shit straightened out. They decided to give me $14,000 two days after they dropped all my goddamn Spring classes. I had a fucking killer schedule and I lost it all. Someday UT will meet my wrath, probably in the form of less than adequate donations. I imagine I'll grow very soft in my old age. Update: Quotes - Many many Red Hook ESB is so the shit. Jay came into town last weekend and we saw Baboon and Burden Bros. and it was pretty sweet. Briefly met some of the band members but I was somehow still really tired from my fuckin test Thursday so I didn't appreciate all as much as I should've. It was nice having a 21 yr old in house for a couple days though. We had fun. Jay sang to Jeff and made anti-semitic jokes and I think I broke a rib laughing. Jeff and I are getting a condo northwest of campus next year. The Stop-N-Get-Blown will be in operation by late August '03. I'm wired for some reason. Got less than 3 hours of sleep but I'm all coked up on leftover panic from nearly missing my Logic final. Anyway, the place is really nice with high ceilings and we have ambitious plans for not one, but TWO living rooms. Just try and fathom that!! Haha man... I can't help but talk about Trent Lott. Officially, I hate the fucker cos he's obviously a racist, but I love what he's doing for the beloved Republicunts. Keep him as majority leader! See how many minority votes you lose in a couple years. Swoot. If you haven't yet discovered this, the Daily Show is one of the most brilliant fucking shows on television and Jon Stewart is a genius. As soon as you are completely apathetic towards someone you used to give a shit about and they haven't crossed your mind in weeks, out they pop. Nothing better than remembered emotional turmoil during finals week, eh? Don't let the first seemingly simple tracks of a Modest Mouse album fool you. They're one of the most eclectic and talented bands I've heard in a long fucking time. Compare the previously mentioned song with 3rd Planet and a Different City. Very diverse and genius. I'm out. No food + beer = sleeeepy. |

| Yesterday I wore a t-shirt to class. And flip-flops. I was happy yesterday. Today is cold and rainy and I had to wear fucking layers. Zeus is laughing his balls off at us. On a lighter note, I have an assload of quotes. I won't put the link for several more lines, so you'll have to wait til then unless you're a cheater. Thanksgiving was as I expected it'd be. Maybe less busy. I thought I'd be going from one group of friends to the next but some people left town unexpectedly early or shit just didn't work out. So interesting! Nah. Although when several of us went out to Josh's to.. do stuff, we were walking back inside (it was a manufactured home with a wooden staircase leading to the door several feet off the ground) when the stairs began to give and then fucking collapsed. I was at the top so I made it to the house before everything fell apart, McKinney was at the end of the line so he bailed, but Jeff was in the middle and just went down with the ship. Man it was funny. I'm unable to properly convey my enthusiasm for that momentary excitement through mere text. Giggidy Goo. We also hung out at the burned remnants of the Yarbrough mansion at the lake. Also funny. Update: Quizno's...tes - Yeah I'm gonna go to dinner and what not with April tonight then it's woohoo Logic time. I was under the impression we only had three tests, and considering that we'd had three tests already, I figured I could skip my remaining classes. CS-affiliated people decided to fuck me one last time. At least I understand the shit. I think. I'm looking at A's in 2 classes and if I fuck up this Logic test I'll prolly get like a C in that class. I also tried to hang out with Karen but the only people she'd have wanted to hang out with in addition to me were out of town by then so I didn't call. She still had the gall to gripe at me for not calling. Ha! Me=kettle, karen=pot, you see where I'm going with this... This is one of those weeks from hell. What little motivation to work we have left is being stored up for finals week. Hell, we'll probably lose the rest during dead week so there's no point in trying! Except I have two tests this week. Vacation is near... Oh the depravity of Xmas break. I'm gonna make a popsicle out of shrooms, Xanax, chewing tobacco and pop rocks, and just kick back and watch Labyrinth or Octopussy. Yeah baby. Vacation. My Aggie friends (and all Aggies for that matter) can kindly shut the fuck up for the third consecutive year. It's for your own good; talking about tsip's only incites everyone else in the country to mock you. It was a great yet confusing weekend in football... OU gets clobbered by OSU but it doesn't affect shit cos we suck. A&M gets clobbered but that's to be expected cos they suck. USC vs ND was good, blah blah. I'm out. Deuce. |
